Relic hunting this evening from 6:30 to 8:30. First target was a fatty indian (1860-1864), weighing in at 4g, so a "fatty" for sure.

Got 5 more relics that included a small cuff button marked "EXTRA QUALITY", a somewhat larger button that's been burned,

a musket ball and another older lead piece, IMG_7866.webp

and a curved brass plate.

Collected 90 cents in clad and this memento from a museum in Durham, NC.IMG_7871.webp

Nice relic hunt mate - congrats! :skullflag: :occasion14:

Good hunt, nice fatty & button & musket ball, congrats on all the saves & HH

Thanks Tommy. It was a great way to relax at the end of a busy weekend. A little hot and the bugs were biting, but the relics were there, too.

That Javadroid! We are the "park pirates".

Thanks Inspector! Absolutley! Very pleased with the variety that came out of the ground.

Nice finds McCdig. I like those buttons, and the elongated penny.

Thanks Trezurehunter! Was a blast to get that variety in a short hunt. Going out tomorrow on a solo hunt. About 45 min walk in to a different site and then start detecting.
