EVENT HUNTING GETS TOP BILLING: KUDOS TO THE MODS

WOW im lookin at theforum here and i see the events are now bein listed

first before any topix.

most of these are for planted or seeded hunts.

great. finally this comes out from bein buried on the back shelf.

i just came from a week long speed hunting event. and made out great

i won a 150 dollar msrp garrett pro pointer probe. a silver half. several silver rounds. a all pro 300 digger. and numerous smaller prizes.

the mods and manfs are waking up to the reality of dwindling finds from hard hunted areas. seeded hunts are the shot in the arm this hobby needs to continue.

if u have the time and money to travel.consider a speed event. its a great time. exciting to try and find prizes. and find the right token?? u win. a slower hunting lady got the gold coin. she just walked off the field cryin w joy n didnt try anymore. it was funny to see.

this was called southern indiana treasure fest. id like to thank all the sponsors.esp garrett hee hee. that made this event possible and hope to attend next year

attend one near them, even if

it's a great way to meet others,
in most cases also meet the FMDAC,
and get all kinds of tips, from club members,
from proper
digging to, setting your detector up,
to great hunting spots.
