We harvested some razor clams on the Oregon Coast, cooked some up, and I bit down on this. It's a lavender color and felt like biting on a rock. I'm pretty excited about it, although I've had some people say that finding a pearl from a clam is so unlikely that this is probably something else. What do you think?

Pretty sure all mollusks are capable of producing pearls, just a matter of which ones do it more often that are used for farming of them. so yeah a pearl can for sure come from a razor clam.
