Excalibur II yellow KOSS headphones issue

Recently i have notice that my yellow Koss headphones sounds like blown off , is this possible to happened with them?? I always keep volume at maximum , i am not sure this cause the problem
or some waves which recently take it from may head during detecting in surf. I notice that sound twerking only show up on very high tones silver etc.

Wiring probably has issue, may need to have it checked out.

Put some gray ghost amphibian phones on it.

That was first thing to do, unfortunately i manage to open only left one , one of the screws on right didn't want to go out , so first time i get in my company repair center i will give it to some of the workers to open and check wiring.

I put a piece of elastic hose secured from the headphones running through the hollow of the spiral of the wires then secure that to the unit. That way when a wave slaps them off your head the wire doesn't bear the brunt of the pulling. I did this after the wire got pulled too hard and they needed repair. No problems in the five years since.
