Taking on some excalibur work such as coils, pinpoint/discrimination and peltor earphone modifications.

Looking to help out a few in need and keep busy during the slow work season. If interested send me a PM and I'll try to help out. As soon as I find a deal on an Excal I'll be calling you LIR...

No problem buddy, let me know when you're ready.

Sorry, unless your doing them for free you can't advertise the mods......

Actually as strange as it may sound I kind of am cause I like working on them, you know have to keep busy. Idol hands are the devils playground.
Just gave and installed a coil on sonny fl's excal 100% free but he did give me a stock excal shaft to help me out I guess.

I'm sure he'd verify through a pm.

Making a buddy a sand shark straight shaft as a gift he doesn't know about yet....unless he's reading this. Lol
Also building a arbor for my neighbor for free just cause they're cool. Holiday spirit I guess. I do enjoy the good karma so maybe that's the motivator. Don't know.

Yes sir, for now but can't do them all for free so is trades and the like ok? Swapping parts, shafts ect.? That way we may all have enough parts to keep or machines going and mod them to be the way we want them. Would a trade or donation be frowned upon?

Sorry, but trades are still reserved for CM. It isn't fair to paying members and we have had complaints in past by charter members for same thing...

What you do in PM is your business as long as nothing is posted on forums.

You could just become a CM for $20.00 and do every thing in the open.

Just want to thank "lost items recovery" for the coil and peltor mods he completed on my old blue 1000. Received her today and she looks brand new. I'll send an update as soon as I take her for a swim. Thanks Dave!

Old Blue has never looked better thanks to lost items recovery. Thanks Dave!

First hunt (2 hours) with the refurbished Excal 1000. While I found no gold or silver today, plenty of sand and big waves, she worked like a charm and purred like a kitten. I dug all targets today just to verify Nulls, etc. and she was right on the money every time. The 14" shaft extension to the S-Shaft enabled me to mount the Excal behind my elbow and it is perfectly balanced.
Thanks again to Dave (lost items recovery) for the mods...
