Excalibur problem

went hunting the other evening, everything worked fine......yesterday morning i put the battery on charge as i was planning to go out yesterday evening....hooked it back up as i was getting ready to go and NOTHING.....kept turning it on and off and finally it started making a LOUD threshold type sound real deeptone...threw a penny down and it wont pick it up......im kinda confused....worked excellent one day then ...WHAMMO...nothing the next....any help would be awesome

Take control box off of tube and look in clear side for condensation.

i totally forgot about this post lol......turns out that battery is no good....good thing i had 2 lol....thank you for all the replies
