Well, I got my two dives in today. However, the good stuff seemed to have migrated away from where I was playing. For precious metals I was able to scrounge up a merc, two 1943 P war nickles and a very small link to a forget me not bracelet. That's all folks!! I did get a 1936 buffalo and two wheats from the 40's

Three small brass rings, two brass and one aluminum religeous medal, a lipstick tube and 5 buckles.

The best find is the ships wheel with the city of Detroit in the middle and the words THE HEART OF DETROIT, MICH

I think I wasn't in tune with my detector today. As we all know, tomorrow is another day. My new CZ-21 with an 8" coil will be here, I am excited to test it out.

brass buckles and bathing cap snaps - are the good signs I look for - along with the rest - i'd stay on it
don't know if you know (even if you do - good for others to know)
- the brass stuff is usually all pre WWII - at least made wise (they stopped using brass for such items when we got in the war)
- my kind of area

Yep, I know how old this area is. All my last dives have been from there. Trouble is how deep this stuff is. You really have to be in tune with your machine to hear the very faint whispers on the Tiger Shark. If the weeds and the 6 - 10 inches of muck were off the gravel and sand I would be having a field day for sure.

Thanks Casper, love your posts and input. Hopefully my new CZ with the 8" coil will give me another advantage my Tiger Shark can't. Yes my Shark can move weeds however, I don't think it hits as deep as my CZ and because of the muck I need that extra depth.

Not a bad days finds Scuba. Have fun with your new detector.

What fun finds!

I really like the ships wheel. Great find for an off day.

Congrats on some nice finds good luck with the other machine

MY KEYS ! ! !

:P

MY KEYS ! ! !

:P

That was the strangest find. Everything in the old swim area has been old. Why a new set of keys is any ones guess.

I will just sit here today waiting for my new toy. Patiently........................................NOT
