Sweet wheat BHG. G@@d eyes.
Is that a Barber dime, quarter, or half on your avatar?

Nice Wheatie. GL@HH.

I "found" a wheatie yesterday also -- when friendly clerk handing me change said, "and this one's a wheatie", lol. Saw the nice wheat design, flipped it over seeing "1940", birth year of my husband & my sister - fun! As this was a clerk who doesn't know me or my detecting hobby, I guess I just have "jolly-coin-collecting-nerd" written all over my face & clothing! Well, maybe it's my old-funny-lady-colorfully-wrapped-braids that tipped him off. Have fun & may your next detecting foray be a super one! Andi

My very best silver was an eyeball find, BHG. I still like finding wheats!:coffee2:

Good eye, you must have a trained treasure eye, I think my treasure eye is much stronger now too!

Funny.
I found a 1920 wheat on the ground at a Kroger Gas Station Last Month.
Too bad it had been run over a few times but I still kept it and put it in with it's Wheat Type Friends.
Also it was in MUCH better shape than the ones I dig.
Good Luck

A whole heck of a lot better than zinc any day!

Great find! Thanks for sharing...

WTG on the sharp eye!

Obviously it's a "no brainer ", - I'm sure you'll be checking the eroded curb with your new F2 - I too get happy when I dig a wheat penny !
