Tried to post these photos last week when there were photo posting problems here. Problem is fixed, so here they are. Too cold here (for my old bones anyways) to metal detect, and the ground is frozen. While walking back to my car in a shopping center parking lot last week I spied a glimpse of gold at the edge of a melting pile of snow left by a plow. Figuring it was probably just junk or costume jewelry I picked it up. Trashed earring, but 1.3 grams of 14K! Better than clad or a couple silver dimes!!
