Up “For Sale” is a great example of a second generation New York Sword Excalibur.
This unit has been refurbished from the inside out.
All control shafts have been cleaned and lubricated with silicone grease, inner “O” rings replaced, dust seal “O” rings replaced and an additional “O” ring added to each shaft above the dust seal “O” ring for added water integrity. All control shaft nuts on the circuit boards have been re-tightened and pod was pressure tested to 20ft.
Detector comes with the latest 10 inch Tornado coil painted bright yellow for better visibility, coil cover, new lower rod, new tear drop washers, charger and original manual. The decals on the side of the tube have been removed to allow better monitoring of the inside of the detector.
Included are an extremely loud set of custom built @#$%& H10 headphones that are splash proof but not suitable for diving. The headphone cable has been replaced with a better quality Ikelite coiled cable. Also included is a 1400 ma. Nimh battery from “Only Battery Packs”.
The conventional stock shaft was rebuilt and a new foam rubber grip added, but you might want to replace it with an after market straight shaft for better balance and comfort.
