many people don;t understand the pure hell that those who fought in stalingrad went thru to help break the back of nazi germany -- the russians fought long and hard losing many men, women and children in thre process and helped to greatly weaken the german army tying up and destroying vast amounts of men and equiptment in russia. ----while during the cold war and even today at times we do not see perfectly eye to eye -- both the USA and RUSSIA can look back wiith pride on thier "joint" feat and working together in stopping hitler.
