thanks it looks like they moved it around while judging and items are moved a bit. I'll have to go up and make it look a bit better. I hope this catches on better for next year. This is first year for this category. I asked them if they would add it and they did. I mainly did it to get some more people interested in this hobby. I'm not stingy there is plenty to be found in my area.

thanks John my wife and kids got it for me for Father's Day.
 

The fire dept badge is in display also and a few of us dated it back to the late 1800s not early 1900s like I thought. The records from local dept have a Eyestone on the dept back in late 1800s. A lot of guys been helping me do the research on the badge and the sycamore fire dept is excited about me donating it to them after fair. It doesn't mean much anywhere else but here where I live it's a pretty significant find and has become a conversation piece at the fair. Makes me proud that I brought it back into the light again.
