I love hunting our County Fairgrounds, it is also a multi use County Park, so it gets used other than Fair time. Went back through a Horse barn, that I hunted before, but with the 8.5x11DD, this time I had the 5x8DD. Dug lots of lower tones, got some "tack bling?" odds and ends and pull tabs. I knew I dug quite a few nickels, but did not know I had dug my 1st Buffalo Nickel,( a 1937) until I got home and rinsed every thing off:hello2: I did the same thing last week, with my first Indian Head Cent I am sure the larger coil did not miss all this, but I sure like the 5x8:icon_thumleft: 102_1541.webp102_1544.webp
