Mainly the heat. Summers can be brutal around here.

Yep,, it is hot in most of Texas, most of the year.
Been through there numerous times on the bike.

Makes sense, I would rather be out in the snow or rain.

Yeah in Texas its near impossible to Metal Detect in the heat. Fall, Winter and Spring are the best times.
