Took this picture on a big hill that goes out of Lander Wyoming on my way to Green River. I could see the hunters camp trailers here and there in the high country. It was around this time last year I think I was going over this hill and it was snowing like crazy up on top. It won't be long and winter will have it's grip on this country high above. I should see some good fall colors when I get back in to Colorado also.

There isn't too much color change here yet, but it won't be too long for sure.

I just drove today south on Wyoming hwy 191 that goes down through the Flaming Gorge reservoir and at the higher elevations the leaves on the Aspen were brown and many had all the leaves gone on them. I can only think it was due to a dry year or maybe a disease.? Can't say I've seen that before. Pretty odd and it's in places that would show some beautiful colors in past years going through there.

It is very dry here, we haven't had any rain for quite a while.
