Went to an estate sale yesterday and wondered why no one was there. Seems they had it the week before too. Disappointed, I left.
While leaving, I saw a sign for another estate sale. I walked in and I was the only one there. They had a 3x6' table full of jewelry. I filled a small shopping bag with sterling and some gold (4g 14K ring, pendant below, and 14K & Diamond watch below). I chatted with the guy for about 40 minutes while looking through the jewelry. When I asked for a price, he said $40. I gave him a $100.
I then saw a set of 8 mid-century modern chair. Seller told me $10 each. Again, I have him another $100. They are Eric Buck chairs. There is a set of 6 listed on firstdibs for $3,400.
Finally, I did one last look over of the house and found a silverware set box. I opened it up and it was an incomplete set of Lunt's Sweetheart Rose sterling. The seller told me $50, again I gave him a $100. There was over 1000g of sterling in the silverware alone.
The crazy thing was I was there for over an hour and only a handful of people came in. I asked if they had listed it on craigslist and they said no. I was shocked and told them they needed to list it. I go to a lot of sales and this is the first time something like this has ever happened.
The pendant below is sterling (the loop), 14K (the setting), and what I believe is jade. I know I have seen that 'M' mark before. Does anyone know who it is?

Here is a diamond and 14K Hamilton Ladies watch. It works. Too bad the crystal has a small chip on top left hand side.

Also picked up a collection of 1960s concert post cards. Figure some of you old timers may appreciate these.
Thanks for looking.
