First cache was a jar of 175 silver dimes in a mason jar.
Second and Third were in Prince Albert cans.
After cleaning here are some of the better coins.
Not bad for two trips, and about3 hours total hunting.
All were next to the foundation of the house at about 1 foot deep.

Dano,

now that sounds like a heck of a foundation..

Very nice, good job.

3 in one area; that is something. Congrat.

have a good un...........

I would like to know what kind of detector you have and what VDI reading the ones in the PA cans gave you.

Did the silver give you any signal or did you get a strong iron signal from the can?

The first cache was found with a Tesoro Cibola I don't know what settings or readings he had, The second and third were found with an Ace 250, we had descrim turned up very high because of the high amount of trash in the area. But the caches sounded out like an old Ford. We intend to hunt differently in the same area again...fine tooth comb... I'm thinking there is more on the property.
The pics only show the better finds, I didn't want to make the post take to long to load. And noooooooo it wasn't SALTED..
Dano.

(WHistling loud and long!). Man oh man, dano. Just how long did it take to quit shaking once you settled down? Karma is definitely with you after trying to take care of one of God's creatures, now get out there and find the gallon mason jar. Great job and HH.
