Fauna and Flora shots today.

Hit the Meadows early while it was on the cooler side,as soon as I got out of my truck I looked up and saw this guy,of course he saw me too.







He flew off toward the river... kind of hard maintaining a shot at full zoom.

A bit later I saw him fly overhead with a snake for its young(no shot..CRAP).


This shot is taking scraps out of the nest.



I see this guy just setting there..

so I put him back in the water..

A big Robber Fly..

This Mama has her hands full with 24 young...

Ferns and Spider Wort...

??..

Then went down to the Enfield Dam..



Last but not least..rotting Shad fish..stink city.

Actually those are the gates for controlling water level in the canal.
