Went for a couple of hours to my favorite site, which is huge, and every field I try keeps giving lots of good targets and very little trash!

This time i tried a field which was planted last year, and they have rolled it, and leave it lay for this year. I only covered 10%, and will go back very soon. The only sad thing its that the patina from this area is a brown like mud, and if you scratch it a lot, the coins are in bad shape underneath.

My first spur (dont know the date, help is welcome!!! :dontknow:)
A nice cape holder or medieval fibula (the one with two bulky triangles on the ends)
Piece of dagger chappe, must have been very ornate
8 maravedis of FELIPE IV around 1660´s (the small coin)
8 maravedis of CARLOS III 1792 (me best copper of this king)

and many more coins and buttons

enjoy and thanks for looking

Without looking it up, the spur is post-medieval, probably 18th C :icon_thumright:

its called layer pin? I still dont know how to call this things, I know they are "pasadores de capa", but not in English.
I also dont know how they were used, do you have a drawing from the web that explains how are they placed, and where?
