Overall, I'd have to agree, although now and then both still have their moments. I definitely miss Bitty Schramm ("Sharona") on Monk. MythBusters seems to have veered off into sensationalism over science, especially pyrotechnics and gross-out humor.

BTW, I specified the British version of Antiques Roadshow for the same reason: recent U.S. episodes/seasons have been hokey, hyped, and marred by a number of embarrassingly incompetent "experts."

Prison Break
Antique Roadshow
House
GhostHunters

and I'm a 40 year fan of:

Professional Wrestling, this includes RAW and Smackdown.

for some reason i love ghost hunters. i dont think i even care if they see a ghost! i just like watching a bunch of plumbers argue about how the other ones arent hunting for ghosts the "right" way! brilliant stuff!

Antiques Roadshow / Made in America / Mythbusters / iron chef and as much Southpark as possible.

House
Survivor
The Amazing Race
Criminal Minds
Prison Break
Iron Chef
The Boondocks
Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad

The History Channel, just about anything, even their wacky UFO shows. The Military Channel, aviation subjects, up to date and behind the scenes shows on the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. CSI, the original one, can't stand that red headed guy on CSI Miami! A lot of the PBS special shows. I even like some of the corny old treasure hunting shows. FOX for news and commentary. I don't watch much public TV, mostly cable, so I don't even know what the name of lsome of the TV shows are nowdays. Oh, I do watch SCRUBS with my wife now and then for laughs. Monty

Yes! to # 1, 2, 6-10 My idea of a horror show would be one of Hycynth's "candlelight suppah" And even worse - with Rimmer and Lister attending. Ouch!

Current?
History and History International (channels)
Lost
The 4400
Ghosthunters is fun
Gilmore Girls - altho it feels as if they've lost "something" in the last season. We'll see.

now defunct:
Babylon 5, Firefly, Farscape (there was a fun reference to Farscape on the 200th episode of Stargate - a hoot)

There are a few TV shows otherwise that are alright. I really don't like any comedies of the last 10 years or more. But older shows Andy Griffith and things of that era were always good wholesome TV.
