fbs coil on a musky advantage

i have a musky advantage with a bad coil, i wanted to know if a coil for and explorer will work on the advantage, they both have the same plug on them ,anybody ever tried it ?

Ummmm.......no.
Your Musky is a 5kHz VLF machine, and the Explorer is 2.5-100kHz multi-freq FBS machine. Very different despite the plug.
