Beautiful band!

I find it so difficult to dig up that hard clay; a detector with a very sharp tip is necessary, but those scoops are too heavy for me, so I just plod along with what I have.

Congrats on all those treasure finds!

I'm not going anywhere too soon :>(

Congratulations on the ring finds!

Nice finds. Did you get rained on much?

Very nice finds. Congrats to you!

Congrats on the finds! :)

Congrats, keep pulling the stuff out of the ground!

Hard clay is good in that it prevents targets from sinking too deep, but it can be a pain to dig. Find yourself a metal shop and have them fabricate you a steel scoop with a serrated lip.(drilling your own holes will save on $$$) We use to make our own out of old galvanized stove pipe and they worked really well. The serrated lip allows you to twist and turn the bucket and sort of eat your way down. A looped miller style handle was great for this. Not the best drawing, but this is basically what we did. 3/8" galvanized pipe for the handle. Tank tough!
