Just wonder how many of you explorers run in ferrous tones-all metal?
I learned the machine in conductive tones, and really only use the audio to identify the targets, and then zero in on the smartfind. And I do very well. But there obviously will be advantages to not nulling the machine. But when I've tried the ferrous, the beavertails and pulltabs all sound similar to coins? So I am assuming that in ferrous you visually check, w/smartfind every conductive target. Or is it possible to discern the tones of high right (coins) to low right (pull tabs/screwcaps)?
