Paid $2 each for the video games, the Jurassic Park Operation Genesis should sell for at least $50, it would be worth more if it had the manual. I will sell the others in a lot. Probably not worth a lot, but also found a signed copy of We Were Soldiers Once...And Young. Paid $1.50 for it.

So, what makes the video games so valuable. The jurassic park game is a PS2 game which probably didn't cost that much new. Are some titles just rarer/more popular than others?

OK...so it looks like a rare game. Is there a site that lists which games to look for or is eBay the best reference?

I just use ebay and check sold listings. Role playing type games do well, sports type games usually not so much.

Thanks for info. That makes sense the sports games are so popular they make tons of them and a new on comes out every year. Role/theme games are only made when that topic is popular.

yeah that jurassic park one is rare for some reason, my stepson really wants it but its expensive for any platform including pc.. nice finds!

Nice buys. Thanks for sharing...

Thats why I love this forum... I have that game and got it for $5 new when PS2 was the 'in' system. Figured by now, it was completely worthless.

Great to hear- I'll have to look up some others!

If you ever see "Bust a Groove" for PS1, snatch it up. For whatever reason it's worth (market value) 20x +more than most other PS1 games.
