managed to get out for a couple short hunts at some early sites I’ve crushed. Got to love that one great high tone in a really old site being a 1965 quarter… Any ideas on the “L” shaped piece. Found deep in woods in the middle of 1780-1850 stuff. Heavy cast brass with some iron remnants.

Great hunt. Perhaps it's a small hand saw of sorts??
