Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Two hunts waiting through all lead sinkers at a fresh-water spot. Clearly worth it. My lead scrap bucket 🪣 I cashed out beginning of this month already filling back up. So they can get melted and cast into more sinkers for me to dig up again lmao 🤣

The older non silver coins come out a little crusty here. Especially the wheatys. Could only get a date off one, mainly because they were a spill one protected Abe from the elements.

Coins
*3 crusty wheatys
*1919 wheaty
*2000 5 cents from the Bahamas
*1873 seated dime with arrows, Philadelphia mint
*1890 seated dime Philadelphia mint, nicest seated dime ive dug.

Other goodies
*sterling clip marked "Sterling pat 1915 ?p co"
*fairly modern sterling ring
*Lead spoon bowl tip or it at least looks like one
*another blue milk glass bead like the one from last weekend
*Pharoah head jewelry part??
*Roger's plated serving spoon part
*mini parasol slide
*very old looking skeleton key

The sterling clip and pharaoh head were both pull tab signals so you really never know.
Can't wait to get back out there and fight the lead.

I appreciate everyone's support. My family pretty much thinks it's all junk unless it's silver or gold.

Mine too, and only then if my wife/daughter can wear it or if I sell it. My son is still excited when I dig matchbox cars, so at least I have that going for me for a bit longer.

I had to fish my circa 1900 granite ware pot out of the trash last night. Piece made by the company on the attached ad. All my smalls at least I have on my display cabinet that locks.

Two seated coins in one hunt is pretty damn exciting in my book! Congrats on a great hunt and some great finds.

Awesome dig man. Great work. You probably dug up several dollars worth of fishing weights/lead there.

Probably. I'll have to weight it. When I went to scrap yard a month ago. Not as much as some people but I bet most of mine from streams, creeks and rivers and I can only do the most productive places late may to end of September because you get rather wet.
