Field hunt opener nets a keeper!

I haven't done any woods hunting this year due to time constraints and too much snow. Today I finally got out for my first field hunt of the year. I hunted a local cornfield that is a former house site (1873+). Previously I have dug a big token (Jury/Rowe store) and an 1850 LC from this site. Fighting the corn stubble, I finally got a decent signal and pulled out a nice green disc....1846 LC. Gotta' love those field sites!
Other items include a lantern knob, clock parts, a button that says "The Harvester," and way too many nails.

Those coins seem to avoid me.
Nothing funner than getting signals out in a a field. You go from the sound of silence for what seems like eternity to pure exitement.
