Howdy. I hit the same field I have been working for another round. 1899 Indian & the old Infantry coat button, with no back stand out as my better finds. I slammed a Monster Java and hunted alone so the finds did increase a bit. I won't list every item in the main picture but, if anything stands out to ya'll relic hunters as special give me a shout. One item I am curious about looks like a brass part to a gun maybe? I like the little brass skeleton key thingy. Kinda cute. The button back I thinks is Scoville Superb XX? It's bigger than 008.webp002.webp003.webp004.webp005.webp006.webpthe Infantry button. I thought I had found the back of the Infantry button until I got home and cleaned my finds. Anyhow, had a great day getting my post work therapy. Enjoy & thanks for viewing and any feedback. Peace.

Nice finds! I would post those finds that you are searching for more information on What Is It?...

Congrats on some nice finds. If Im looking at the same piece you are, your brass piece may be part of a trigger guard from a gun.

That's what I was thinking as well. It's brass I am pretty sure. I bit of weight and rang up in the higher numbers on the VDI. Funny the patina isn't green like other brass I've seen. I might post it on the What Is it thread. Thanks for viewing.
