Is this an artifact? It's carved from a white stone. Found it in the Rio Grande Valley in an old army fort...thanks!

Modern. Made from marbled white clay. Same stuff they used in early colonial smoking pipes.
 

Bisque doll figure from the 19c to early 20c. Made of a fired porcelain paste and most were made in Germany back then. I found one almost exactly the same at a coal camp site that operated from 1880s to 1930s.

For further reference, I'll post one of these little arms gone, headless bisque dolls I found that is dang near identical to the one you found. Almost all the stuff I find in the area I found this bisque figure is stuff from the tail end of the 19th century. Busted bottles, China pottery, marbles, nails, xcetera.
