At 72yrs old, I finally got some learnings. I managed to fill the Goat for $30.27. It usually cost around $80.00. Why I hadn't thought of this before, I'll just chalk it up to "older & wiser."

My tank was over half full when I started...do ya think that it could have something to do with it?

Yep, I remember when I was a teenager, my dad would always say "it doesn't cost any more to keep the tank full as to keep it empty".

I do that all the time. I can swing $25-30 at a shot but the full tank price in one shot is horrible.

BILO grocery store has fuelperks. I don't shop there but considering it cause it is just a tad farther away but for every $50 spent you get .05 off a gallon with extra promos to gain more perks. like buy 3 out of these 15 items and get additional .15 off gas.

So I am now going to do it. heck if I can get .20-30 off diesel for the truck I will be thrilled. it all adds up.

How did we do it in the 60's??? 3 bucks worth 12 gal (APROX) but man we could cruise for 6 or 7 hr's Back them we laid a lot of rubber (smoke ummmm!)
