And it was right where I was walking. I didn't have to work for this one . Also found an ax head and some spoons. I'm getting better . The spoon handle says sterling. Very cool design. A old barn down the road is being reborn into an antique store. So,they have dug and pushed some dirt around it. This is the first time anyone has been allowed to hunt on there. I,feel, very lucky for the chance to go there.

nice finds congrats HH

Good stuff there :icon_thumleft:

Good finds for sure ! Hey can you get us a closer pic of the spoon/s ? Sterling silver spoons are a GREAT find in my opinion !

Outstanding, Deb. It takes time, patience and a bit of luck, but good finds do come along if you keep at it. That is a gorgeous Indian head, by the way. All of mine have been seriously toasted.

I was so happy. It was so blue tarnished just lying on top of the dirt. I noticed it,and picked it up. I bought a lottery ticket today and the coin is resting on it for luck. Under what is it, I posed a sign the contractor found, it went to a gravestone, I posted it there and found out they replace the metal one with his name on it when his wife died. Someone posted the newer one. I ran back over and showed him what others posted. I think I have a good standing with him. It will be a good place for me. He let me walk under the barn where the cows stayed. Not sure where to start under there. They are putting a septic tank in the next few weeks where I found the penny. I asked him if I could come back and he said for sure.

I know I am being silly about this find but I have been at this 2 months with a fisher f2. I keep getting discouraged until today. I,am listening to the tones and use my,headphones all the time now. Thanks for all the support.

Great looking Indian head! Congrats! That barn looks like it has a ton of potential. I would start anywhere you will not be able to detect once they turn it into the store, barn floor, sceptic area, etc... Good luck

A silver Indian head. My wife has one that's copper. Am I just seeing it wrong?

I think it's copper. How can I tell? It was more blue when I picked it up.

Great stuff. Cant wait to see what else you find!

Very good find. Old barns capture my attention too!
