I finally got the chance to hunt the dry lake but it was to hard to hunt so i hunt the soccer field this

Jim if you didn't already know its not valuable.
You can tell by the setting and corrosion. Keep hunting the soccer field around the boundry lines, goal posts, and center circle.
When you find a good field, hunt it very thorough.
 

Hey thanks for the advise ,kind disapointed but happy i found something it looks like not too md in my city so a good find is out there going to hunt the soccer field again this weekend
 

Did you randomly hunt the dry lake or did you research areas where there may have been a boat launch or swimming hole?

I've hunted an area where they dumped the dredgings from a lake. Found quite a few fishing sinkers, lures, a couple wheaties, even a soda bottle from the 1950's that made it through being dredged, dumped and bulldozed...lol.

I wouldn't give up on it if you haven't researched it.

Yea the i area that hunt use to be old swimming hole with a slide and swings the lake became unsafe to swim the city close it down in the late 70s the water was too polluted
