Finally found my first Barber

Hello all, it's been a long time since I posted anything as I haven't been able to get the metal detector out in over a year. Well today I finally had a few hours to go hunting, I usually work 14-15 hours 6 days a week and go to church Sunday's so needless to say I was excited to go.
I hunted a field beside this old covered bridge
My son who's 10 years old went with me and 10 minutes into the hunt I find this beauty!

Thanks, it sure has been a long time. It took me awhile to get used to the tones on the at pro. After not using it for a year I was rusty for a few min.

Just curious, what was the AT reading, the tone and how deep was the coin? Nice find...got my first of that same year also summer 2015.

Jeepers after 14 hours a day 6 days a week you sure deserved a day off !
The find was just a very small bonus in comparison to that, but glad you got a first as well.
I assure you when you are dead, you won't be wishing you worked one extra day. Think about it.

The reading was 82-84 on the AT Pro
It was only 3-4 inches down.

Just keep on with the tones and don't worry about the vdi, especially on deeper targets. Don't be shy digging iffy signals either. What have you got to lose...just a sweet find is all.
