Finally got a BETTER error penny

Went through most of another box today. Got 5 Wheaties and a couple strike thru errors and this. Date is wasted. Has multiple cuds in God, Trust and Liberty and the date, 1989 is pretty poorly struck.

What is your definintion of a cud?
I see that type of stuff on zinckers all the time.

Metal that is not supposed to be there. It's not zinc deterioration that I can tell under 40x magnification.
