Finally got in some relic hunting

I have had a nasty cold since last weekend. I went out with my brother detecting last weekend but didn't log much time since my head was spinning. I drug myself out today even though I told myself I was staying in bed. I am glad I did. The old building was in Tilden, the waterfall Three Rivers, and the beach pics were from Boca Chica. (I know I covered a lot of distance over the last two weekends) Lots of I don't knows are in the pics. The oversize thimble looking thing is the bottom from an old cane and I found a 1935 wheatie next to it.

thanks Joe the bottom of the bullet is a center fire but it is old it says WCC 5 (and some distance a way another 5) not sure what caliber

Nice digs and photo's there Dawn. Hope your feeling better soon. For me I always take about two good shots of NyQuil, put on some sweet's and hit the bed. Don't forget 'chicken soap' the stuff works too.

BTW: a couple of shots of NyQuil puts me into a 3 day coma but I wake up feeling great.....

I would love to get on that side, what you see in the pic is the mouth of the Rio Grande River, the side you see with the light house is where the old town of Baghdad would of been that being said it is Mexico, rather close isn't it.
