Nothing worth posting pics about, but the sun was shining and the temp was in the 50's. Needed to go out and try this XTerra 70 that's been sitting in the living room beckoning me!
Hoped to score some old stuff today where I went but no such luck. Came away with 1 quarter, 1 dime, 9 pennies, and a Canadian penny. The Canadian penny is in a hole with the dime and 2 other pennies.
Confidence is growing with the Minelab. Of course I dug my share of trash, but I got pretty comfortable with the penny signals. The quarter signal was a strong solid 44 that didn't waver at all.
I also introduced a friend of mine to the hobby and let him use the Ace 250. Of course, right off the bat he digs a 50 something Wheatie! He did get another penny, but he dug just about EVERYTHING he marked to get used to it. He did well for his first time out and I think I have a new hunting partner!
