I finally got out yesterday and today for a little hunting. I went by an old house that I've been looking at for over a year now to see if anyone was around so I could ask for permission. I saw a truck in the neighbours driveway so I knocked on the door. A nice gentleman answered the door and I asked if he new who owned the house next door and he said yes it belongs to my brother in law. He said that the house is over 100 years old and his brother was going to tear it down and build a new house. I asked if I could have permission to metal detect on the property and he said sure but I probably wouldn't find anything and I couldn't go inside because it was falling apart and might cave in on me. I said ok I'll just do a quick hunt. I was only there for about 30 minutes and only found a 1984 penny and an old oldsmobile dust cover for a tractor I think. From there I went to a beach on the north shore of lake erie near Fort Erie Ontario. These are my finds for the 2 days of hunting.

the 3rd pic. is the top of a wrought iron fence I think. It rang in at a solid 86 on the GB Pro. I don't know what the item is next to the tractor dust cover in the first pic. says NF 65 on the handle. I also don't know about bullets I think the one on the left is a 22 shell but the one on the right of it it bigger and all I can read on it is a D and a Coc maybe a W or M with the number 5 and maybe 2 or three dots. Under the cap is a dome of back stuff looks like a sponge but is hard. I know its NOT a shotgun shell. Thanks for looking.
