Finally got out since the hernia operation

Had my operation Feb. 4 and tried to get out four weeks later. Decided against it but today I took the time to go. I coach our high school girls softball team, and last week one of the girls lost her class ring. I told her I'd try to find it this weekend. Well, sad to say I came up empty, but I did find these two and a few coins. The larger is a cheap one, the smaller is silver. Wish I'd found hers, but now to find the owner of these. Shouldn't be too hard. Nice to be back!

Carrying around all that found gold will cause a hernia, so be careful! I don't know wha kind of detector you have but to find a specific item like a class ring I would: Get another class ring and see how it reads out on your detector. Then discriminate out everything except that signal. If you pass a coil over it you will find it. Gold is hard to find anyway because it's signature is so similar to a nickel or a pull tab and sometimes even foil! Good luck. Monty
