Finally got out to dig

I finally got out to do some marble diggin. I will be posting some more pics soon, but I wanted to show you this concretion I dug up. It is the biggest one I have found. I think I was able to see about 18 of the marbles on the clump, and after breaking it up I ended up with a total of 35. It is a real kick chipping away at it to discover the hidden treasures.

clean those up and maybe duffy or one of the other experts can i'd them for you....cool stuff...and what kind of area was it where they clump up like that

Hey Duff, I'm sure you have been there a couple million times. lol

Through the RR tunnel right on the riverbank. River was low so there was a little more room for digging, until we got that downpour Wednesday.
