Most of the local people in the community had never heard of a General Store in this field between 1872 to 1879. Property owner finally got the hay off today. Found lots of square nails, horse shoes, hinges and other various iron objects such as large square nuts large iron rings 3 to 4 inches. Took a few pics of my other finds. No old coins yet! But will be going back. According to my research in the local library most items were bought with gold dust from local mines. The scales used to weigh the gold are still owned by living family members of the store owner.
