Finally scored silver from my field.

Wife and kids are gone for a few days, so after finishing a few projects at home I decided to dust off my detector and hit my field. I worked a new area that I had ignored previously because of modern trash. Weeded through the trash and got a gardner .58, a large cent and my first silver from the spot an 1876 cc dime.

Very nice. My detector doesn't sit long enough to gather dust but never found anything as interesting as these though. I have found 5 rings so far this year and they are all junk. 4 Avons and an Army ring which i'm pretty sure there is no good metal on it. Congrats on the nice finds. I'm sure the dust will not collect on that detector again for a while after these finds.
