So today I went on a short hour hunt besides a small 1930's house. And I pulled up some great finds. Last time I dug a silver was 3 months ago! So Iv'e really been wanting to find some silver and today I got the silver!

First good find of the day was a 2 Öre coin from 1926:

I detected around the hole where I found the first coin, and got another good signal. Out came my first silver coin in a long time!
A very nice condition 10 öre from 1911:

I didn't find any more stuff in a while until I got another great signal not that deep, and in the hole was a beautiful nice brooch looking thing:

And I thought about where I found the two coins it may have been more coins dropped. So I went and detected behind a thorn bush and got another silver coin! 25 öre from 1959 in great condition:

I had a great time there and I will detect there another time in hope of finding more good stuff!

Congrats on the silver finds. Good way to break the silver drought. It sounds like that location is holding some good stuff. We are thawing from a snow here so I’m taking the weekend off.

Nice job. Good time to break a dry spell right at years end!

Nice finds! Love the sweet sound of silver.

Nice assortment of finds VlDetecting. Thanks for sharing...

May I ask the percentage of silver in the coins? Great finds, congratulations.

Nice finds you pulled up. That brooch looking thing may be a horse bridle rosette. I can't really tell the size with nothing else in the pic to compare it to. Congrats! :occasion14:

You're right! On the obverse of the rosette there's lettering saying 'Algot' (a Swedish name) it must've been the horse's name! There's more letters that I can't really make out...
I will try to figure them out.
