My last five hunts at my favourite park have been pretty sparse with the silver seemingly drying up since we got back from our vacation to France in July. Throwing my back out detecting at the start of September slowed me down too.
There could be a variety of reasons for silver drying up. I’ve moved out of the soccer field area, dry conditions and possibly moving into an area I’ve already detected prior to starting to use the line? Who knows. I was still finding deep pennies from the ‘40’s so I figure the silver is still there.
Finally today I hit something worth posting about. Funny enough I had just called last target and choose to dig up a 43-45 as it rang up super clear at 5cm. Popped this without cutting a plug...

So there is no hallmark so I don’t know what K it is. The only thing I can find inside is <KE> but I’ve no doubt it’s gold. It looks too well made. Anyone know what maker <KE> is or what it stands for?

Here’s my finds today along with my lazy piles from the past hunts.
