Finding an antique kedge anchor in the Colorado River

I found what i believe is an antique anchor in the Colorado River. My thought is that it is from about 150-170 years ago when the steamboat/paddle wheel barges were working up and down the river..... Any thoughts on dating this big boy would be very much appreciated...
