Remove the back bezel and remove the battery. Leave it inside a baggie full of rice for about a week. Clean the contacts, replace the battery, ... all good now

Found this Timex Titanium Dive Watch at the old park yesterday. Not sure when it was separated from it's owner but it had sunk down about 5 inches deep. It cleaned up well and the hands can actually be rotated. A quick Google search points to manufacture in the late 80's. I guess they do take a licking but this one's not ticking.
