Finds for today from Virginia:

Went out for about 5 hours; dug 10 shotgun shells and plenty of modern lead but found a few keepers too. The small bell has a nice design in it, three minnies, some camp lead, the disc from a Williams cleaner, and some items that I don't know...


I imagine the bullet in the middle is modern it has some odd cross-hatching on it. Here's a better pic of it:

Great finds! The object at the top in the first picture above the iron ring is part of an old door hasp. See them around here on old outbuildings.

Thats one of those fancy "curving" bullets from the movie Wanted...

Super cool find. No idea why it would look like that.
Maybe someone carved it then realized they needed to use it?

Nice Finds, I did find one of those bullet a while back. Someone on T-Net showed me it was a more modern black powder bullet. Here is the link he sent me. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Buffalo-Bullet-Conical-Muzzleloader-Rifle-Bullets/1222799.uts
