Hello tnetters, today I got out alone for 3 hours. A local swimming pond is being "Dewatered". Although the sides are very steep, I managed to find 5 silver rings, and one silver and one gold earrings with my XLT. Also a lot of clad coins, and zincolns, but no old coins. I was hoping for some gold rings, but today I didn't get any. The ring with the orange stone has the stone engraved with some kind of writing. Thanks for looking, Niffler

5 silver rings...sounds like a great hunt to me! That's more silver than i've found all year! Great job! keep us updated when you go back!

That's what I call ringing in the new year. :headbang: Very great finds.

I guess people who wear gold are too fancy for a swimmin' hole.

Excellent hunt, great rings.

Way to go! Thanks for sharing. :icon_thumright:

That's what I call an excellent hunt. I like all your rings but especially the carnelian (?) one. It looks Afghani.

I'm sure there are gold rings. No matter how "unfancy" the swimming hole, wherever I found silver there allways was gold too. Good finds so far.

Great day! Congrats!

Thanks for all the nice comments. I am going back for more tonight after work! Niffler
