I went deer hunting and metal detecting again Saturday at the old 1800's house. I didn't do very good there. I didn't find any coins there, just a couple relics. One was the back of a pocket watch, a couple other things that I'm not sure about, and a smashed thimble. If I could get rid of some weeds out there I could find more. Today I detected a house next to my parents and I found two wheaties 1948, 1944, and the 1950 Rosie (my first Rosie). I also found $1.39 in clad. I posted the other day that I've found two barbers and three Mercury's and still no Roosevelt's. I definitely wasn't complaining. Here are my finds:

Very nice Victorian jewelery finds :headbang:

Bring some roundup to kill the weeds, has to be some great stuff hiding at that site

I dug a very similiar watch to that, different picture but exact style, likely same engraver? It came from a site that produced a US plate and nothing post dating 1865ish
