First arrowhead find!

I don’t know much about arrowheads so any info will be greatly appreciated, found in Missouri, near Meramec River on my friends property.

Even though you can’t ID the type, you can be pretty sure that is Burlington flint. The lower Meramec River is just loaded with that type of flint and was a major source for Indians for thousands of yrs.
 

Could be a preform. From the look of the curve on the left side of the bottom edge it coukd have been a little blade. Nice find.
 

Some blades were held in the hand between a piece of deer hide I’m sure.
