I dug my first Barber dime on a short hunt at an old plantation site in Nashville Tennessee today. On my first swing over the target the minelab E-trac gave a choppy whine and after that the item sounded like a nail. After digging about five inches the item started sounding good from one direction. At ten inches, out popped my first Barber dime after hunting for 20 years. This site was “hunted out” basically. I had given up on finding anything today and was walking back to the truck but something told me to not give up and so I walked over to an area that had given up some Civil War bullets and old coins in the past. Glad I listened to that small voice.

Yup, nice semi-key date/mint mark Barber! Too bad it wasn't a "S" mint.....you could have retired! :icon_thumleft:

Nice find, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Those Barbers 10c are great coins. Congrats on a well earned find!
